This Regency rosewood library chair was made circa 1820. NOW SOLD
In the manner of this type of chair that was produced in the Gillows workshops. As it is not stamped Gillow, we can only state that we believe it was from those workshops.
Made in the best rosewood and having the wonderful reeded front legs and rear legs with the brass cup castors.
Having fine carving to the shoulders and arms.
The frame of rosewood with the bergère caning. The fine leather drop in loose cushion in the antiqued red wine colour.
