This Set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs were made circa 1810.
Using the influence of Sheratons designs, the cabinetmaker took this in mind to make these 8 chairs.
The Set of 8 Regency mahogany dining chairs consist of a pair of armchairs and then the matching 6 side chairs, all with drop in upholstered seats.
The chairs are of a classic but simple style and are robust as they have the H stretchers that join to the front and rear legs.
The back-rails have the delicate line inlays, with the central bar being of waisted shape with applied roundels and an oval inlay to the centre.
The armchairs with a curved arm support with urn shaped turnings joining to the legs.
