This Queen Anne style walnut cabinet on stand was made circa 1920.
Made in a top workshop, and lightly distressd by the cabinetmaker to give it the lovely colour and finish of a Queen Anne period cabinet.
It was made in 2 parts to allow easy access to and around your home.
The top section has a pair of doors with an engraved brass lockplate, that open to reveal 2 fixed shelves and in the lovely painted eau de nil colour.
The base has 3 drawers, a central wide drawer above the shaped apron and a box drawer to each side, all are cross-banded and having the original shaped brass plate handles.
It stands on wonderful well carved walnut cabriole legs ending with a claw and ball foot.
