This Queen Anne style walnut bureau bookcase was made circa 1920.
The desirable design with the dome shaped top were usually made in walnut, very much in keeping with the originals made in the Queen Anne and George I period.
It stands on long cabriole legs with shell carved knees, 2 graduated drawers are below the writing surface that is revealed when the fall is lifted forward.
This is made in 2 parts that allows easy transportation to and around your home. The top section is the dome shaped top glazed bookcase with the adjustable shelved interior.
