This Pair of Victorian leather desk chairs were made circa 1880 in one of the best cabinet makers workshops of the period. NOW SOLD
Of tub shape with well-turned and fluted arm supports below the button back rest.
I have never before had a pair of tub desk chairs of this type; they would be wonderful each side of a partner’s desk.
These obviously could be used for other settings not only for desks and could be used as reading chairs.
We have completely re upholstered this pair using fine English leather, hand dyeing it in the tan colour before giving it the antique finish so that the leather will seem to have been on the chair since it was first made.
Imagine how good these will look in your home or office.
Whilst priced as a pair I would consider selling them individually.
