This Pair of Victorian leather desk chairs were made circa 1865 in one of the best workshops of the period. NOW SOLD
Having carved mahogany arms above the elegant cabriole legs with castors below.
The deeply buttoned backs, seat, and padded arms we have re-upholstered in fine English hand dyed red leather. The leather is prepared then upholstered onto the frame before our specialist starts the skilful colouring processes by hand. Once coloured the aging process is then done with the many different coats of wax and polish to make these look fabulous.
These can be used in many situations not just as desk chairs.
