This pair of Edwardian leather sofas were made circa 1920.
Each sofa has the carved walnut frame that is upholstered in fine leather and hand dyed before it was antiqued. The leather is attached to the frame with hundreds of brass headed studs, this is a skilled and time consuming process that takes much patience.
They have loose full width feather filled cushions, that allow you to sit so comfortably.
The shape of each sofa is lightly bowed and have the arms running down with their beautifully and finely carved hand grips with scrolls and leaf carving, these join the carved cabriole legs.
Imagine these in your drawing room or bedroom and how wonderful they will look in place.
