This pair of mahogany Edwardian leather club chairs were made circa 1910. NOW SOLD
The high-quality frame of finely carved mahogany with a double cane back rest.
It has 2 feather filled fine leather cushions, that have been hand dyed and then antiqued.
The back with the wonderful gadrooning that are also running on the armrests, that end with the swept-out handgrips with the fine acanthus carving and a scroll.
The arms are shaped and are joined to the cabriole front legs.
The seat support is dropped in and has the feather filled seat cushion.
These are a very comfortable pair of chairs, and the feather cushions allow you sit with comfort.
