This Maples Edwardian revolving desk chair has been reupholstered by us using Grade 1 English leather, hand dyed by our own specialist craftsmen in our delicious apple green. The leather is secured by hundreds of brass capped studs, each one carefully and patiently tapped in. A very time consuming and skilled job.
Maples and Co. were one of the most prestigious furniture makers and retailers of the late Victorian and Edwardian period. This swivel chair revolves on the solid walnut 4-legged base.
The main body of the chair is upholstered in deep buttoned leather at the back and with a sprung seat.
The leather covered padded arms have carved and turned solid walnut supports.
