This Large Victorian leather ottoman was made circa 1880. NOW SOLD
It is of impressive size and would make fantastic storage in a bedroom or drawing room setting.
The buttoned leather lid lifts using the pair of brass knob handles, that is held once opened by a leather stay. Once opened it reveals a fully lined interior.
We have totally re-upholstered this ottoman using our specialist leatherworker.
The leather is secured to the ottoman before being hand dyed and after many processes it gets to the wonderful antique finish that gives the impression it has been on this Ottoman all its life.
Each brass stud is tapped in individually, which is a very skilled job requiring a lot of patience.
