Georgian style mahogany twin pillar dining table. NOW SOLD
This Regency style mahogany dining table was made circa 1920.
This Regency style mahogany dining table is made in the classic design of the Georgian era. The cabinetmaker chose redundant period timber to construct this table. In this period there was a fantastic selection of high-quality Georgian timber available to the independent cabinetmakers. They were able to take this timber and make the tables using a mahogany that was not available as it had been cut down generations before.
You can use this table closed without the extra leaves or when you wish to sit more around it you can set the leaves in place. You can use this table in all the combinations the extra leaves give you and this will allow for 8-12 seats.
The table stands on well-proportioned gun barrel turned pedestals with tripod bases ending with brass claw feet with the castors below.
Imagine the pleasure you will get of owning this dining table and the fun you will have around it as you entertain family and friends.
