This Georgian style mahogany dining table was made circa 1920 by a cabinetmaker using redundant antique timber. NOW SOLD
At this time there was an abundance of scrap timber around that were from antique tables and sideboards that could be salvaged for him to take advantage of this wonderful timber. He could choose the timber with character and figure that was not easily available. The Georgian style mahogany dining table stands on a pair of turned columns with the reeded sweeping legs and brass claw toes with the rolling castors under.
This table can be used in with one, both or no leaves in place.
