The fall front with the well selected oyster walnut and a book rest.

Under the fall are a small drawer next to the pull out lopers that support the fall when open.

Under these drawers is a waist moulding, and under this are 2 half drawers and 2 full width drawers.

The bureau stands on bracket feet.

The interior has the well that has a slide that opens for full storage inside. It has the stepped interior with multiple drawers.

There is a receipt that comes with this bureau of when it was purchased from an antique shop in 1911 for £25, an incredible amount of money at the time, imagine how much that would be today! It is also interesting that at that time everything antique made in walnut was classed as Queen Anne, nowadays where there has been so much information and books written we are able to date these more accurately and what period they were made due to the slight changes in design.
