This solid Edwardian walnut extending dining table can be used closed without the leaves in or it can be used with one or both leaves set in place. This makes this a very versatile dining table for the table seating you require.
The table winds open easily using a crank handle, this turns the high-quality patent screw mechanism, to slide the table open on runners.
The antique dining table has a solid walnut turned leg to each corner. The legs turned with reeds/flute carving and end on the original wheel rolling castors.
To the top of the legs the block is carved with a floral roundel, something that is the signature of Hampton& sons dining tables. These are high quality products that were made to serve Hamptons very well-heeled clients, who expected the best quality and they were the company many chose to use.
The solid walnut top with rounded corners and a quadrant moulding around the edge.
