This Edwardian Sheraton revival display cabinet was made circa 1900 and was made in in one of the finest workshops of the day, probably Edwards & Roberts.
The cabinet stands on a base that has square tapering legs that are joined by a platform that is of a concave shape to the front and has a deep crossbanding around the edge.
This cabinet is splendid with the major surfaces with fine inlaid marquetry.
The base section is fitted a pair of drawers.
The top glazed display section consists of a pair of straight opening doors with bow shaped glass to each end. The lined interior is fitted 2 shelves.
This cabinet was made in 2 parts and so is easy to transport around and into your home.
It is a fine cabinet for display as the glass does not have glazing bars that may obscure the contents, and so your collection can be displayed beautifully
