This Edwardian inlaid mahogany display cabinet was made in the Edwardian period known as the ‘Age of elegance’ circa 1900. This cabinet a is fine example of the period. NOW SOLD
It is a breakfront with a central door that opens to allow you to get into the cabinet where it has the 2 glass shelves. Unusually, the shelves are edged in a brass frame, the interior is also lined in a beautiful green watered silk.
Under the glass cabinet are 3 mahogany lined drawers all with their original brass handles.
It stands on elegant turned legs with fine carving, that are joined by a platform and with turned feet.
To each side of the glazed door are concave panels of glass that again add to this cabinet’s obvious quality and class.
