This Edwardian inlaid mahogany envelope card table was made circa 1900, in a first-class cabinetmaker for a prestige furniture retailer, probably Maple & Co. NOW SOLD
The top swivels to allow you to lift the envelope flaps to allow you to get access to the baize playing surface. On each flap you have the counter scoops.
The Edwardian inlaid mahogany envelope card table is fitted a full width drawer fitted a cast brass handle.
It stands on a fine turned leg to each corner with the decorative turned stretchers with the central circular plate that join the legs.
