In the desirable style of Chinese Chippendale this pair of stools are made of solid mahogany with red hand dyed hide leather upholstered seats. The process of hand dying and finishing the leather is a time-consuming process, as well as the hundreds of brass headed studs that have to be tapped in individually. A process that takes much skill and patience.
These stools have chamfered square legs with fine blind fret to the front sides, the legs are joined by cross-stretchers.
Completely recovered in hide leather before being hand dyed and with the antique finish.
