Edwardian camel back Chippendale style sofa
Now Sold
This Edwardian camel back Chippendale style sofa would have been made circa 1910.
In the Chippendale design with blind fret decoration around the mahogany frame.
The sofa stands on moulded legs, that are joined by stretchers.
The frame is covered in fine leather, that our specialist has hand dyed and then finish in our special antique finish. Many have tried to copy but have failed.
The shape of this sofa flows, from the elegant scroll arms to the camel hump back.
This was made as a 2 seat sofa, and so could also be classed as a conversation sofa.
It can be situated in so many places in the home, having the feel of a country house piece to a gentleman’s club look, and so it would be great in a entrance hall, a drawing room, library , and other situations in your home.
I suspect there will be squabbles who can sit in this as it is so comfortable, by also great on the eye.
Imagine the admiring comments you will get from your family and friends about this when it is in your home.
