This 19thc Yorkshire broad armchair was made circa 1860 NOW SOLD
Made from ash with a solid elm seat these chairs make a lovely character chair for a kitchen or lounge.
They were made for country and farm estate houses. The appeal of this style of chair adds to their attraction as after hard toil on a farm the owner could sit by the hearth and smoke a pipe as they unwound after the long day.
It has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed ready for your home.
