The dresser base is a great size that will fit in so many places around your home.
This Antique oak dresser base is fitted 3 drawers along the top all with brass plate handles.
Having 4 well-turned legs to the front that join the pot board base with the usual square legs to the rear. The planked boards to the pot board go front to back which gives it an extra interest to the wonderful colour and grain to the timber. Quite often there are just 2 long planks laid lengthways, but the cabinetmaker used the timber he had on this dresser in smaller lengths. Even in those times using the materials economically was essential, as oak was still expensive.
