This 19thc. button back leather reading easy chair was made circa 1840.NOW SOLD
It stands on lovely fluted and turned front legs with its brass cup and porcelain rolling castors.
The chair is upholstered in fine hand dyed and antiqued leather. The back deeply buttoned.
To each side of the serpentine front seat, are open scroll arms with padded arm rests. The exposed fine mahogany frame carries on up the sides before ending in a curl matching the shape of the buttoned back.
This is a very elegant chair that will suit any interior.
Imagine relaxing in this chair, perhaps with a glass of wine while reading. Although you may well doze off as you will feel so good.
