The lid lifts to reveal a fitted interior with a removable marble mixing tray, a glass brass washer, a tray with 12 different colours, that lifts out to reveal an original label. W.I. Reeves and son superfine preparers to his majesty and the Royal Family.
A drawer to the front is secured by a brass pin that when pulled out allows the drawer to open. Inside is a porcelain pallet by George Rowney, 6 mixing bowls and another original label Reeves, Woodyear, Reeves, 80 Holborn Bridge London.
This partnership was only recorded for 1 year 1817-1818


This is in remarkable condition considering its age and the labels are in superb condition.
