				This superb example of a Victorian burr walnut Davenport desk with a bankers roll, that opens up to reveal a sliding writing surface with a lifting reading slope. A pen tray to one side. The top with an automatic pop up stationery box, that is released by a catch. The lid hinges back to reveal storage for stationery. The desk is veneered on mahogany in a superb tight burr walnut. There are a set of graduated drawers to the right hand side and dummy drawers to the left, this allows for a good drawer length to allow for plenty of space.
