Georgian furniture we categorise as made in the period 1714-1800, Regency furniture 1800-1830, William IV furniture 1830-1840 , Victorian furniture 1840-1900, and Edwardian furniture 1901-1920. We understand that there is overlapping of monarchs but it is difficult to precisely put styles to each monarch.

Our English antique furniture is selected to the quality we would wish for if it was for our own private use. We only have 1 buyer who has over 30 years experience of selecting the right design and best quality to sell under the Hingstons of Wilton antique shop banner. That enables any purchaser of antiques to have the confidence that they are indeed buying the antique to the correct quality of finish and timber chosen when the antique was first made.
