Here we have this Victorian combined games and work table.

The serpentine burr walnut top swivels and opens to reveal an inlaid chess and backgammon board.

Below the top is a drawer of serpentine shape.

The table stands on end supports, joined by a turned double stretcher.

These tables make lovely lamp and occasional tables.
